A dedicated haven for your horse to enjoy their retirement in the tranquil Staffordshire countryside. Our retired horses are matched with other like-minded friends in small herds to enjoy the peace and quiet of Whitmore Estate.

 

It's not just the oldies that can enjoy our peaceful retirement livery, we welcome any horses that want to live out their days strolling around a paddock, injury or illness, young or old, any non-ridden equine is welcome to stay.

We offer a full care package by our dedicated, qualified staff, this minimises disruption to our herds, grass livery alone is not available here. Without the daily comings and goings of countless people and movement of horses in and out they are able to relax in their environment, true retirement heaven!

We keep all the owners updated regularly with pictures and reports and welcome you to visit as often as you like.

24/7 Tailored grazing for individual needs

Both natural and erected shelters

Well drained,  undulating pasture

Worming programme

Hoof trimming

Daily checks inc rug changes/fly spray/foot care etc

Regular grooming and trimming

Hay when required

Salt licks provided

Dedicated and qualified staff

Stable available in emergencies (additional cost)

Monthly emailed reports of medical/condition/weight etc

Regular updates and photos by phone
